Daily Blessing

May you raise your shield of faith, draw a line in the sand, tell that enemy of your soul, ‘No More! You will steal from me no longer!” Refuse to be bullied by your fears. Don’t put up with the enemy’s taunts and threats. Put him under your feet where he belongs. Remember the authority you have in Christ. Pray God’s Word with all the passion in your soul. Raise your shield and lift your voice. God has made you an overcomer!

You’ve been in the winter season for far too long. You wonder if it’ll ever end. You wonder if springtime will happen for everybody but you. But here’s what’s true: Even now, there are little sprouts underground, coming to life, ready to break through. Those are your seeds that you planted and that God watered. You can’t see them but they’re there. In due time, the sun will shine, the cold will pass, and life will break through the hardened soil of this season. I know you’re tired but don’t give up hope. May Jesus wrap you up in His goodness today. May you sense His kindness and be assured of His promises. Spring is definitely coming for you. Blessings on your day.

Love is like water: it has three states of being and is essential for life. Love starts as a feeling, I love you because I feel good around you. I don’t have to do anything for you. This is like steam, it is hot and energetic but it is difficult to hold and fades quickly. If you get past stage one, Love becomes an exchange of actions and feelings. You give to me and I feel good. I give to you, so you feel good. This is like liquid water, it sloshes around and is difficult to manage when you carry it with you. It can sustain you but you cannot build on it. In the final stage, Love becomes a decision, an act of will. I will give to you because I will sacrifice myself. Then Love is like ice: solid, immovable, strong.
